On Starz Network DirecTV Bundles, the show "American gods" is launched since Sunday 10th March 2019.  The Season took a long time for any TV series, and it’s over budget as well. The American Gods is a fascinating show and bring a complex vision of the world of the gods who are fighting for the human race’s sovereignty.

What are Main Changes in the Season 2 of American Gods?

Compared to season 1 a lot of things have been changed. Previous season’s showrunners, Bryan Fuller and Michael Green have left the show. They left due to the financial and creative differences of the season with FremantleMedia North America.
Jess Alexander joined the Show to replace Bryan and Michael as a showrunner. As per the Hollywood Reporter, the production company has planned to start with Alexander, replaced the existing material and trying to return more close the Gaiman’s novel as source material. But Alexander also stepped back in September 2018.

Who is in the Cast of American Gods Season 2

Ricky Whittle has returned as Shadow and Ian McShane as Mr. Wednesday. Emily Browning has joined back as Laura Moon Shadow’s dead wife. Other cast includes Yetide Badaki’s sex goddess Bilquis, Bruce Langley (Technical boy), Pablo Schreiber as Mad Sweeny and Orlando Jones as Mr. Nancy.

Season 2 has Got Mixed Response by Critics

As per rotten tomatoes the episode one, The House on the Rock has received 71% ratings. It says that this episode has got a style in spades but slow pacing and shaky story make for a rocky start to the season though it may be enough to encourage devotees to keep the faith.
The Second Episode The Beguiling Man has no critic consensus yet, but it scores average rating of 5.6 (75%) based on 8 reviews.  
This season, to understand the War between Old Gods and New Gods, it is highly advisable to watch the first season of American Gods of Starz on Internet DirecTV. You will clearly understand that why a giant leprechaun, a zombie, and Odin are sitting in a car with Shadow Moon.
